EMMA

I found Emma first on youtube in a photographic channel the "weekly emogen". She is a lovely model with a face very well suited for portraits. It was then I got interested on a workshop where she would avail herself as the model. Our workshop mentor Mark was very helpful to me as I had forgotten to bring with me my camera battery in the rush and was offered to use his camera for the session. We learned to make use of the available light, during the golden hour in the evening and the city ambient in the night. With the 50mm 1.8 lens and full frame camera, both which I don't own, I was able to get a creamy bokeh and colors that even when all the images where shot on Jpeg.

SAROJ WEDS PRAMILA

Its always a pleasant feeling to finish a project and make the final keyboard click before the whole internet community have the access to your content. Today was one of those day. I recently filmed a small wedding ceremony and reception of a lovely couple which was once again a very good experience of a Nepali(South Asian) culture that is in itself very diverse, so much that having shot more that 25 weddings over past one year, I still think I have not even exploited a fraction. Every Nepali wedding seems unique and contrast to the last one I visit. I think it is a representation of how culturally, linguistically, ethnically and geographically diverse the country Nepal is. Apart from filming the short ceremony before noon and then reception in the afternoon, we also took time to shoot still portraits of a couple just outside the wedding venue. Due to the cold weather we had to limit the shoot very short few minutes, but it was enough to get a good 2-3 shots that I could display in this blog to make it more interesting. I hope you all to enjoy the video highlights and the pictures of the day. Until next time. :D
